Agu Kleme is a visual artist, painter and photographer with a Master of Arts degree.
Her artistic education developed across Poland and Spain, including studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk and at Escuela de Arte de Sevilla.
Rather than working within one fixed visual formula, her practice moves between different forms of observation: the painted surface, the photographic frame, the human presence, memory, atmosphere and the experience of place.
Academic artistic education culminating in a Master of Arts degree. A foundation in visual thinking, artistic discipline and the development of an individual practice.
Artistic studies in Seville added another cultural and visual perspective to her education: another landscape, another light, another history of image-making.
An artwork does not need to explain everything. Sometimes its strongest presence begins exactly where explanation ends.
Agu Kleme currently works across painting, commissioned artwork and photography.
Her work is not defined by one subject alone. Instead, each project begins with its own visual problem: a person, a place, an atmosphere, a memory, a fragment of reality or an idea that demands form.
Agukleme.com is being developed as the permanent digital home of this practice — a growing archive of artworks, photography, commissions, selected projects and writing from the studio.
